European Headlight Converters

Why do I have to put stickers on my headlights when I am driving in Europe?

In Europe it is illegal to dazzle other drivers. In the UK car headlights point slightly to the left when they are dipped to avoid dazzling oncoming traffic and as they drive on the right-hand side of the road in Europe this would have the opposite effect. So to avoid getting a fine, it is recommended that you convert your headlights when travelling on the continent (even if you don’t intend to drive at night). The easiest way of doing so is by buying special stickers which are placed over part of the car headlights and are readily available from motoring stores.
