Second Hand Optional Extras

I recently bought a second hand Audi A4 which, when bought new had optional extras available. The original owner did not choose any these optional extras. If I fit some of them now, do I have to inform my car insurance company? Yes, if you make any changes to your car you should always inform your car insurance company because they could count as modifications, particularly if they affect either the performance or the value of the car. If you do not declare any changes you have made and you are unlucky enough to need to make a claim your insurance company may refuse to pay out.
