Breakdown Cover Guide From Tiger.co.uk
Car insurance comparison website Tiger.co.uk has revealed it has published a guide to breakdown cover, adding more useful content for their shoppers to benefit from.
Tiger.co.uk, known for their online car insurance comparison service has continued to provide its shoppers with useful insurance guides, most recently a guide to breakdown cover. The guides are aimed to provide users with valuable information on insurance related products so that visitors are fully aware of the potential benefits when it comes to purchasing the product or renewing.
The breakdown cover guide initially provides a clear definition to what breakdown cover is and what levels of protection is offered to consumers. In addition the guide illustrates scenarios that aim to show what level of cover would suit particular motorists; providing drivers with information upon which to make an informed decision on the level of cover they may require. With cars featuring more complex technology and the amount of cars on the road increasing even making simple repairs at the side of the road is becoming difficult and importantly, more dangerous.
The importance of breakdown cover is demonstrated by figures from the RAC which reveal that, especially in winter months, they can receive over 750,000 from troubled motorists - in peak times this can be as many as 15,000 calls in one day! Interestingly, during this period they also receive over 6,000 calls from motorists who have broken down that do not have any cover. This is a concerning figure as for less experienced or more vulnerable motorist’s breakdown cover can be a good safety measure.
Andrew Goulborn, Commercial Director of Tiger.co.uk commented:
“We have had some fantastic responses from shoppers on our guides and we are hoping that our breakdown cover guide is no different. It is a product that most motorists are aware of but with so many different levels of cover available they would benefit from the information provided in the guide. Naturally it’s up to the shopper to decide but as long as we continue to provide the information than our customers can make an educated decision.”
